It’s that time of year again! As the new year looms ever closer on the horizon, here’s my ranking of every new release I saw in 2019. It wasn’t a banner year for new releases (I’ll go into more detail tomorrow), but I saw 54, which isn’t terrible. Here’s the ranking:
50 Godzilla: King of the Monsters
48 Homecoming: A Film by Beyonce
45 Vice
From this point on I’d actually recommend watching the films.
44 The Report
39 The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot
35 Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw
32 How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
21 Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker
19 The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part
18 John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch
11 John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum
8 Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood
Shaun the sheep was actually THAT good?
great list Jay. 54 is impressive especially for someone who goes to see these films in the theater 🙂
(especially from someone who only saw 13 in the theater)
Farmageddon was awesome, I loved it. Then again, I’m an Aardman fan (an Aardfan?) so I may be biased.
I saw 24 of these in the cinema, which given I need to go twice a month to make my membership be cost effective, I just barely made it. Phew.
Slacker.
We can’t all be retired, Richard.
